Meet Rachel

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C018226) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist-Associate (LCAS-28794) in North Carolina who has been practicing therapy since 2022. Prior to beginning my journey as a therapist, I worked in child welfare, advocating for foster youth and families. I am dedicated to working with people who are seeking to bloom in their unique and authentic individuality while remaining rooted in a supportive community. I am still on this journey myself, and I would be honored to walk along side you on yours.

I have worked with a variety of presenting concerns in my career including behavioral concerns and conduct disorder, emerging bipolar disorder in teens, psychotic symptoms (hallucinations and delusions), neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ identity exploration and advocacy, and complex trauma. I am particularly passionate about working with mood disorders, anxiety symptoms, and trauma. My focus is with teens, young adults, and their families; however, I have worked with children as young as 7 and adults into their late-fifties.

I have lived experience with mental health struggles, and I have found community and nature to be extremely supportive in my continued wellness. Whether that be going on hikes, finding a moment of stillness in a local park, or spending time with my partner, my friends, or my 3 dogs. I am known to rely on a professional support community as well, and I know that even reaching out to inquire about services can be nerve wracking. Other moments of joy in my life are brought by reading, playing video games, and going on new adventures. A goal for 2026 is to take up some photography, too!

Please feel free to contact me if you think we might be a good fit!
